I’m a proud Maryland girl (yes, I love my state flag), and proof that ADHDers can focus on long projects if the project is engaging and meaningful, and if we can periodically take breaks (sometimes for two months…). When I’m not writing one of the half-dozen stories floating around in my head, I enjoy reading other people’s stories, letting my attention loose through photography, singing in my church choir, and buying treats for my niece and nephew. I’m a public school English teacher with instructional experience ranging from AP Literature, to Yearbook, to Culture and Media.
In 2020 I started new graduate coursework in Educational Psychology, and I am passionate about learning more in this vital field and exploring ways to weave that knowledge into my stories.
